Dillon Francis is one of those producers that is capable of pushing out so many different styles, and always manages to pull them off exceptionally well on top of that. Dillon pairs up with the English producer Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (not his dad), to drop a possibly unfinished (it still sounds amazing) track that possesses a great melody, and some fantastic chords.

Underground artist PrototypeRaptor released his new album yesterday, titled “3-1” (With a nostalgic reference to the original Mario Bros), and the album is filled with his signature 8-bit sounds and basslines. Opting for a more disco/funk-type vibe on his third album, the style choice becomes more apparent as you progress through the album, ending with some laidback tracks which are a welcome change of pace. Being one of our favorite lesser-known producers, we can’t recommend purchasing and supporting the album enough, so check out the player below, and we’ll let the music sell itself.

British producer and mixmaster Mat Zo is only 23 years old, yet he’s already made a huge name for himself in the music industry. He recently stepped up to the decks for Mixmag’s “Mix of the Week” for one hell of an amazing set. His song selection is impeccable and his transitions are fantastic. There is nothing to hate in this mix. The download is available at the Mixmag site. Enjoy!

Collaborations between trap specialists Yellow Claw and Yung Felix have proven to be very successful in the past. Now, once again, they have made a killer tune with Dancefloor Champion. The deceptively calm vocals and light drums build up and erupt into bass-heavy trap goodness. Grab the free DL then grab your twerking shoes!

Major Lazer and Canadian DJ/producer Grandtheft have teamed up for this dancehall/electro remix of Machel Montano’s soca-style track The Fog. The more I listen to this tune, the more I love it. It’s got the moombahton vibes we’ve come to expect from a Diplo production, plus one hell of a bouncy bassline. You can pick up the free DL at Major Lazer’s Soundcloud.

Moby gives us a taste of his upcoming eleventh studio album with A Case Of Shame. The new album, entitled Innocents, will feature several renowned guest vocalists/performers including Skylar Grey, Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips), and Mark Lanegan. Moby describes his collaborative approach for the album:
I spend most of my time alone in my studio, so for Innocents it seemed like a really nice idea to involve other people in the making of the record. Working with all of these collaborators has helped me to make a record that I’m very proud of, and working this way also gave me some semblance of a social life…
This song features the beautiful vocals of Cold Specks, which are a perfect fit for Moby’s mood. This already feels like a classic Moby song.
